Beer originated in England in the 1800's and is often sold as a non-alcoholic soda.Ginger ale and ginger beer formerly designated the same drink, but today the ginger beer has a strong taste of ginger.

Ginger beer was first brewed in the 1700's and became very popular in Britain and North America, in 1935, 3000 breweries in Britain, 300 the United States and 1000 in Canada.

The best Known brands of ginger beer are Desnoes & Geddes , Crabbie's , and Reed's.
